Fiona Acey
Counsellor / Therapist / Clinical Supervisor
I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor/therapist and a registered member of the BACP.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor trained to CPCAB level 6.
I can offer a safe, confidential space, where you can decide exactly what you want to share, where your voice will be truly heard and where you will not be judged. I also offer you respect, empathy, honesty and understanding; the foundations for building an effective therapeutic relationship.

My priority is to help you to the best of my ability. My aim is to encourage you to explore and understand your thoughts and feelings and what keeps you in a place of unhappiness or distress. My hope is that you gain a better understanding and awareness of yourself, your feelings and your relationships, enabling you to move towards growth and change.
HOW I WORK
COUNSELLING
SUPERVISION
Person-Centred Counselling
My approach is very client-led. It is a more traditional talking therapy whereby the client can use the session time to reflect on their difficulties (whether past or present) in a non-structured way. This approach believes the client knows best and therefore will find the answers themselves when allowed to explore their difficulties. The counsellor's role is more of a supportive than directive one.
The Seven-Eyed Model
Through our practice we grow as individuals and as therapists. Supervision sessions offer an empathetic space and the support of an experienced peer as you grow, helping you to cultivate skills, explore challenges and re-energise your practice.
Clinical supervision is a crucial dimension to any counselling or psychotherapy practice. At Acey Counselling it is my mission to support and empower practitioners as they offer the best of themselves to their clients.
Face-to-Face, Online and Telephone
For both Counselling and Supervision, I offer multiple forms of contact including face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.
Face-to-face sessions are available at Willyams House, 63B Fore Street, St Columb Major, TR9 6AJ.
Online sessions are available on Zoom and WhatsApp.
Outdoor Sessions
I am able to offer outdoor sessions in the beautiful Cornish countryside for both Counselling and Supervision.
Outdoor sessions can be conducted as we walk and talk, out in nature allowing for a relaxing and refreshing experience.
